Blondy Baruti was born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and found refuge in the United States at the young age. Raised in a Christian household, Blondy developed a deep passion for faith and service, dreaming as early as age 8 of building a church dedicated to God. This lifelong devotion inspired him to create an online sanctuary where believers around the world could gather.
In 2019, Blondy launched BePerk, initially envisioned as a platform to combat bullying and online harassment by empowering users with complete control over their profiles. However, in 2023, he felt a profound calling from God to rededicate the platform to His purpose. This led to a rebranding and transformation into a Christian social media network.
In late 2024, the platform was renamed theWell, symbolizing a spiritual gathering place where believers and seekers alike can come to drink the living water—the uplifting and transformative content inspired by Jesus Christ. Through theWell, Blondy continues his mission to create a digital church and safe haven for people worldwide.
